Rebekah and my brother Ben were married only two weeks ago, It was a magical day that I was privileged to help photograph and take a part as a grooms man. Last year when the wedding plans were being made it was suggested that we should include the couch in the photos. Due to a change in venue we decided to take some photos after the wedding in a more relaxed setting. It took me a few passes to finally decide on this photo. I initially flew right past it because of the pose, however it became clear Bek was most comfortable sitting in this position. I hadn’t given her any direction at all and so to capture her at her most comfortable was icing on the cake, even if it took me a while to realise it.
