It was a very hot day, some would say too hot for Albany, but we had to soldier on and make use of the blue skies. In-between location changes we sheltered inside the house with a cold glass of Ribena. There is something to be said for growing your own produce. It takes a tremendous amount of time and care but its very evident in Lorna’s love for life that the hard work pays off.
As the sun was heading to bed we were fortunate enough to sample some of the goods. Home made bread, with a mouth-watering selection of fresh tomatoes, eggplant, garlic, basil and with a helping of oil, balsamic and cheese. I left lorna’s house very satisfied, we had taken an awesome photo and to top it off my stomach was full of fresh organic treats, what a great way to finish the day!
